Sunday Evening - December 2, 2018 - Went to a local auction today.. well 1.5 hrs away, which is local for us. lol. Picked up some great items - and I still have a batch from last week! We are overflowing with vintage toys! SO, I am putting sneak peak photos on tonight and will hopefully get some up by tomorrow afternoon, and some each day - after 4pm (will list Wed. morning since - we have auction at night). Update - Home early this afternoon. Nice 2 day estate auction about an hr. from home! 3 Generation farm house here in the Catskill Mtns. I picked up some great treasures from the 1930s to early 1960s. Great time. Started sorting already. All is in great shape and some rare items. Check back Thursday for sneak peak photos! -joyce

Saturday - Aug. 25, 2018 - 7am. eastern US time. Good Morning! AFK - Away from keyboard today! Heading out to an onsite estate auction. There is NO cell service. NONE! (The things I do to get toys.. lol). There is basically no cell service here in the Catskill Mtns. NY. Verizon can't make much money here... since population is lower, the State owns much of the mountain tops.. too many obstacles.. you name it. Guess I will have to bring an old fashioned book to read. -Joyce

We are going to an on site auction Friday afternoon .. in a place that may not have cell service. The problem being, I won't be able to post from there or remove items once they sell. Tuesday, July 17, 2018 - Hope you all had a great weekend. We picked up some nice things that we will be listing on Friday. Meanwhile, to mix things up, I will be listing this 1940s collection of Little Golden Books I picked up the other day! There are 26 of them, good to very good condition. ALL are dated from 1942 (first year) to 1949. AND there are 7 First Editions in the batch. Selling all together. They will be listed on the MISC. Page after 5 pm today.

My favorite find last week was this 1954 ATOMIC DISINTEGRATOR SPACE TOY CAP PISTOL by Hubley. One of THE coolest Vintage Toy Ray Guns ever made! Wednesday - May 16, 2018 - We are back home! Love our new 2011 Forester. Drove great. Looks great. No rattles! lol. I am totally impressed with the Charlie's Subaru in Augusta Maine. The body shop guy stayed late - and repainted our hood so it would be ready in the morning & the window motor was replaced first thing, so we were able to pick the car up early yesterday and head home. It was time for a new car.. I was just putting it off.

We drive A LOT! over 30,000 miles a year. So, anyway, car is packed this morning and I will go to post office, if you ordered over weekend - you will get your tracking notices mid morning! Sneak Peak photos of new inventory going on this page tomorrow! Enjoy your day! -Joyce

Monday - May 14, 2018 - Posting from Maine! So, Friday night - on way to daughters, here in Maine: The timing chain went on our old 2009 Subaru Forester (240,000 miles on it). Great car, but to old to spend big money on. So after 2 hrs along the turnpike, we were towed to Charlie's Subaru in Augusta Maine, (our daughter & son in law purchased cars from them). Luckily, they stay open till 8pm, so we were able to buy a 2011 Subaru Forester right on the spot - in and out in less than 2 hrs! WOW. But we found out later, one back window didn't open and on close inspection, the hood had old pine pitch in the clear coating. So this morning, we went there.. and they will fix it all, AND they even paid for a rental car for us to use until car is done tomorrow!

So we are back at daughters, until tomorrow. 7 hr drive home to the Catskills, NY. Just letting you know, since all weekend orders will be shipped alittle late - Wednesday. Then all will be back on track! yea. - Joyce

1960s Monster Lab Diorama, home made by a very talented kid back then. Awesome- with working lights, moving switches and knobs and very detailed. Saturday March 3, 2018 - we got hit with a major snow storm. 18" of snow. NO electric. No cell service at my house. I had to travel 40 min. to find wi-fi.. just letting you all know we are fine. and will post the new finds when we get electric back. The Catskills, in NY has just be declared a state of emergency.. the heavy wet snow took down MANY trees, wires and poles. .. I will post again when electric is back... take care.. joyce

Tuesday - January 30, 2018 - Picked up a 1961 Blaze Ride on Horse by Mattel. Large 41" tall, 35" long. Base is 1" tubular frame which would not tip over like normal spring horses. Blaze, when ridden, would rock back and forth plus when going up down his legs would make a realistic galloping motion! Blaze was also a Pull String Talker - like other toys Mattel made. When you pulled the magic ring he would whinny like a horse and say phrases like "I want hay." I have had a few Blaze over the yrs.. this guy is beautiful! NO cracks or chips or repairs. All actions work like he should. Pull String is missing. He will be on the Vehicles/Ride on Section page, Friday.

Monday January 29, 2018 - Look what just came in! I bought over the phone. It is the very rare 1955 Mattel Driving School. It is awesome. Tin Litho Driving console. measures 19" x 12" x 6". Litho is just beautiful, the molded mountain, house and garage are all mint with no cracks, the 3 cars are mint. Steering wheel looks great. This operates like an etch a sketch: you can turn the wheel and pull back and forth, each car has a magnet and the control inside pulls the car around. I can only get the car go vertically .. not across the area - which means the inside is hung up or broken. SO to actually drive, you would have to open it up underneath. As you can see, it is like a tuna can, all sealed. It could be fixed by someone..but not me. It is just an awesome rare toy and looks great. Comes with original box with is fair shape with wear and tear. I will be listing tonight after 5pm. Vehicles & Toys page $425 with free ship in USA>

Sunday - January 21, 2018 - Well today turned out surprisingly well! We started out early, went to a 9:30 auction about an hour away.. I bought the 3 things I went for within 20 minutes (a new record).. then I said to hubby.. 'hey, those two big antique centers are only an hour away!' so we went. Well the one dealer always has some cool items.. so we found some neat treasures.. and the other place expanded into the rest of this old factory.. so there were items there too! Made it home by 3:30. I will be adding new (old) items Friday night.. sneak peak photos HERE on thursday afternoon.

FYI > If you see our Facebook ad for a toy or a youtube video of one.. and you go to the page link and see the toy. DON'T Assume it is the same toy you saw on Facebook or Youtube. (Especially if the video is from over 1.5 years ago). I have sold a few of these toys several times over the 21 yrs we have been in business! I may have another toy you see in the video, most likely the one in video has been sold, and I may have another in stock - but check the description on the website ..it may not be exact same item you see on you tube. Sunday - January 14, 2018 - 7pm <UPDATE> We are HOME! Left the house at 6:30 am. Went to NJ Dropped of the Batmobile ride-on car to the customer that bought it last week.. I got to see the most fantastic Batman collection I have ever seen! Then we proceeded to Pennsylvania.. another 1.5 from there.. Went to the OUTSIDE Estate Auction.. 19 degrees, but sunny.. stayed there 2.5 hrs.. then we met up with a picker friend we know down there in PA. We found some great items! Here is the whole batch from our day's travels. I won't be listing all at once.. I will break it up into a few batches. I WILL be listing a few items tomorrow afternoon! Thursday - January 11, 2018. We are planning to go to an estate auction Sunday Morning... On the way, we will be dropping off the 1970s Batmobile Ride on Toy we just sold. The new owner lives on the way! How great is that? Really big - heavy & costly to ship.. so I am happy to deliver! I will post any new finds here some time Sunday night. -Joyce

It is -6 degrees here in the Catskills, NY. I don't even want to know what it is with the windchill.. My Subaru still starts so I am happy! We went to an estate auction last night.. and I will diligently be listing & photographing items all day. I will be posting NEW items on the site today at about 5pm eastern US time! Friday, December 29th 2017 - Like most of the US, we are in a deep freeze here in the Catskill Mountains, NY. Temps are around zero or below each morning. .. and it zooms up to about 10 degrees during the day. No snow.. but I think it is too cold to snow.

We are looking forward to going to an INDOOR estate auction on Saturday and hope to bring home treasures for the website.
