Operation X500. This is a very large, impressive Space Playset made by Deluxe Reading - which later became Topper Toys. Consists of two areas: The Base Defense with control panel with switchs, knobs, bells & lights. The helicopter landing pad, Control area in center, as well as Missile launchers that all work! The other section houses your Space ship Launch area. Has working elevator to take your astronaut up to the nose cone capsule, a crane to change your nose cones, a moving train to move the nose cones, the control booth, and the ramps and ladders. Wow!

The set is in excellent/mint condition with all the parts as far as I can tell from the directions. The Base Defense Unit has all the missile launchers and missiles, (2 different sizes) and all the launchers shoot fine. The knobs all are present, two ring bells and two light up. The helicopter is here too! The only broken part I found, was the bottom prongs of the satellite dish are off - but it still sits fine on unit. There are 20 original figures and 2 more in the control station. (Not counting the astronaut, monkey and dog).

The Rocket Launcher is all excellent/mint with no broken parts. All items look present. 2 Rocket ships, 3 cones (with astronaut, monkey, dog and camera!) Rare to find the animals AND the camera! The elevator and crane both work perfectly. The space rocket launches from the platform with the help of the large spring. The truck moves along the track, everything is just fantastic. Full directions sheet too (folded in photo). All items are original with NO repairs. No Cracks or Chips! Very carefully stored and hardly played with before that.
